Pro Shopit ("the App") is developed and maintained by Pro IT Services s.r.o. ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the Slovak Republic.

2. What Is Pro Shopit?

Pro Shopit is a mobile administration application for Android that allows authorized store administrators and managers to manage their own self-hosted e-commerce store. The App connects exclusively to a server that you own and control — it does not communicate with any servers owned by Pro IT Services s.r.o.

3. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary for the App to function:

3.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

• Server URL: The URL of your own server, stored in the app's local preferences on your device.
• Authentication token (JWT): A session token issued by your own server after you log in via QR code. Stored securely in local storage on your device. This token is never sent to Pro IT Services s.r.o. — only to your own server.

3.2 Data Transmitted to Your Server

All data sent or received by the App travels exclusively between your device and your own server that you configure. This includes:

• Order data (read and updated by you)
• Dashboard statistics
• Push notification events

Pro IT Services s.r.o. has no access to this data at any time.

3.3 Camera

The App requests access to your device camera solely to scan a QR code for the purpose of logging in to your server. No images or video are recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. Camera access is only active while the QR scan screen is open.

3.4 Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
• We do not use analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs.
• We do not use crash reporting services.
• We do not collect device identifiers (IMEI, Advertising ID, etc.).
• We do not share any data with third parties.

4. Permissions Used

• CAMERA — Required to scan the QR code login. Not required if you choose not to use QR login.
• INTERNET — Required to communicate with your own store server.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Required to display push notifications about new orders and store events (Android 13+). You can deny this permission and the app will still function without notifications.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC — Required to maintain a persistent background connection to your server for real-time notifications.

5. Push Notifications

Pro Shopit uses a self-hosted Server-Sent Events (SSE) mechanism to deliver real-time push notifications. No third-party push notification service (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging) is used. Notifications are delivered directly from your own server to your device. The content of notifications (e.g. order details) is transmitted exclusively between your device and your own server.

6. Data Security

The authentication token is stored in Android's DataStore (encrypted preferences). All communication between the App and your server should use HTTPS. We recommend configuring your server with a valid SSL certificate.

We have no access to your server, your data, or your authentication credentials.

7. Children's Privacy

Pro Shopit is intended solely for use by adult store administrators and managers. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

8. Data Retention

Because we do not collect any data, there is nothing for us to retain. The authentication token stored on your device can be deleted at any time by logging out of the App or uninstalling it. Your server's data is managed entirely by you.

9. Your Rights (GDPR)

As we do not collect or process any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under GDPR, which you may exercise in relation to data stored on your own server:

• Right of access to your personal data
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to data portability

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
